local d'investissement (FLI)
- This program is aimed at starting, repurchased or expanding
enterprises, including social economy ones.
- The FLI requires a capital outlay of at least 20% of the total
cost of the project.
- The aid granted ($25 000 maximum) can take various forms of
loans, participation in capital shares or social capital or in
other ways, to the exclusion of grants, leave of capital, limited
partnerships, donations and other expenditures of the same nature.
- The admissible expenses are: capital expenditures except for
goodwill expenses, the acquisition of technologies, software or
software packages, patents, etc, excluding research and development
activities and the need for working capital pertaining strictly
to the operations of the enterprise calculated for the first year
of operation.
- The promoters must demonstrate knowledge and pertinent experience
in the field as well as knowledge and aptitudes for management.
- The project must generate economic repercussions in terms of
job creation.
